Botanical Infusions

Many of our formulations begin here.

Whole plants — flowers, leaves, and roots — are slowly infused into oils, allowing oil-soluble components to transfer naturally.

Rather than extracting a single compound, we work with the plant as a whole — preserving more of its natural character and complexity.

Calendula, comfrey, nettle, rosemary, chamomile, and other botanicals are often used in this way throughout our formulations.

The foundation of many of our products comes from oils and butters selected for both feel and function.

Ingredients like olive oil, shea butter, kokum butter, jojoba oil, and tallow each contribute something different:
